British actor David Ryall, according to his agency, has been confirmed to play Elphias Doge, life-long friend of Albus Dumbledore, in Deathly Hallows. Doge was notably featured for writing Dumbledore's obituary in the Daily Prophet, and discussing the late Hogwarts headmaster's dubious history with Harry and Molly Weasley's great Auntie Muriel at Bill and Fleur's wedding (scenes from which were filmed last month).
