簡介:
瑪姬·史密斯經常在電影、電視、舞台三方面演出，皆有優秀表現。
瑪姬·史密斯在牛津劇場（Oxford Playhouse）表演劇場處女作，在1960年代開始在皇家國家劇院（Royal National Theatre）工作。她憑1965年電影《奧賽羅》（莎士比亞名作）飾演Desdemona，與著名演員勞倫斯·奧利維爾有對手戲，獲得首個奧斯卡金像獎提名。
瑪姬·史密斯在1969年電影《春風不化雨》（The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie）飾演蘇格蘭異教徒教師，榮獲奧斯卡最佳女主角獎，是她首個奧斯卡金像獎；1978年的電影《加州套房》（California Suite）使她獲得了1979年的奧斯卡最佳女配角獎。
