• He mentioned that just over a year ago, Evanna and some of her friends sent WB a video demo tape of them acting, hoping to earn a role in the movies. Evanna didnt hear back from Warner Bros. until a day before the Luna open casting call was announced (although the letter was dated months before). They said that they couldnt offer her a part.

Apparently, Evanna was picked straightaway from the 400 hopefuls that were narrowed down from the 15,000 who turned up at the open casting auditions.
