{Ginny?} Neville tapped Ginny on the shoulders and called.
She was looking into the fire, even though it hurt her eyes to do so.
She looked into it as if Harry’s face would appear any minute.
She looked into that fireplace every night after doing homework, only hoping that she could see Harry again.
But nothing happened. The fireplace was burning as usual, and there’s still no sign of Harry.
Neville called Ginny again,
{Ginny!}
{Oh, Neville.} Ginny sounded like she just woke up, her voice hoarse,
{What is it?}
{It’s time. Snape’s not in Hogwarts. It’s now or never.}
{Ok,} Ginny answered indifferently, taking out her wand.
{Tell everyone that we’ll meet in the Room of Requirement in 5 minutes.}

Harry tried to remain as calm as he can when he faced his dead. He tried to look straight into Voldemort’s eyes, wanting to show that he had no fear, but all he saw was Ginny.
The sweet fragrance Ginny had from her hair. The smile that made him smiles with her. The touch on her lips….
And the one, the only promise he made.
The only one he cared to make, because he knew he would fight hard to stay alive for her.
But he “had” to die.
And the thought of not even able to keep that promise made Harry fell deep into the darkness, along with the bright green light that shot right through his heart.
